On today's hike I came upon this big tree - I had my flash with me but no modifiers or light stands. I decided to set it up on the tree in the same direction that the sun was setting - the shadows are pretty harsh but I liked something about it - not my usual style but maybe that's what I liked. I took a few that were much more balanced but they just looked real boring...
