I had the choice between a few different types of film - I choose to recieve three rolls of Foma Fomapan 100 and three rolls of Kodak T-Max 400 because I had never shot either. I have shot the 400 speed version Fomapan and found it interesting - big blocky grain gave it a unique and definitely "filmy" look. I've shot the two other versions of T-Max - the 100 speed and the(now discontinued) 3200 speed. The 100 speed flavor of T-max is supposedly the "world's sharpest film" and my new 400 speed flavor is suposed to be the "world's sharpest high-speed film".
I can't wait to get into these new films - I plan to shoot them with my Minolta X-700 and develop them in Kodak HC-110 dilution b for a straight comparison of other monochromatic film I have shot. Nothing like some free film in the mail, eh? eh?
