Akron2Akron: North Hill

The latest Akron2Akron neighborhood walking tour took place in North Hill and it was a fun one to cover as most of the places we went to I had never been before. These walks are such a great way to learn about some of Akron's hidden gems. As always I recommend checking out the Facebook page and making sure you are at the next event.

We met at the Library in Temple Square then took a trolley to Waters Park.

The mansion originally stood here.

It wasn't the perfect time of day for these shots - but it really is a cool view of downtown.

Greg talking about Frank Waters who donated this land to the city so it could become a park.

The amphitheater that was built by the WPA.

Our next stop was the Italian Center.

We got to sample the spaghetti!

North Hill Farmer's Market at the Exchange House.

Himalayan Music Academy

St. Brendan Hall - The Irish Club

...and of course we ended with some Guinness!
