On Friday I was lucky to attend the launch of the Summit Brew Path at Thirsty Dog Brewing. This program is sponsored by the Akron/Summit County Visitor's Bureau. The idea is to pick up a passport, go and get a beer at a brewery, get it stamped, and when you visit all you get a prize.
Friday was a fun night to get to meet so many of the brewers and talk to the ones I had met before. One - I'm already a brewery nerd, two - I took photos of all the breweries for the website. Kind of a dream job, ya know?
This is Rick Armon, the Beacon Journal Reporter, receiving the first stamp.

After the party a few of the brewers and I decided to have another drink at the bar - what an awesome night!
