I had a shoot at a machine shop in Bedford on Tuesday and afterward I decided to get some lunch and explore a bit. I went to Viaduct Park to see the Great Falls of Tinker's Creek. It is a short but scenic walk. An 1865 train bridge, mill ruins, waterfall, big gorge, giant tunnels etc. After that I went and checked out downtown Bedford since I had never been there before. Cool little downtown.
All the interpretive signage was covered with an icey snow that couldn't be brushed off - which really sucked - reading interpretive signage is what has made people think I'm smart.
The Gorge - look closely at the trail beyond the river for size reference.
The 1865 train viaduct
Surprisingly this only became a park in 2012.
Mill race remnants.
Killing me!
I don't know why I didn't carry my tripod down here to make some better images.
Autumn meets Winter.

Rootsy
A light dusting...
The town square.. I didn't shoot many photos even though there were cool old building and monuments - the light just wasn't good for it.
