I photographed the first Towpath 50 event for the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition - which was a new fundraiser for the organization. It was a supported ride from Lock 3 in Akron down the Towpath to Canal Fulton and back. There was an after-party with food and drinks back at Lock 3. The event was a ton of fun to cover and ride - and since it ended up exceeding fundraising expectations I would assume it will be back next year. (It also helped that the weather was perfect!).
